Midnight Hummingbirds is a series of 10 gelatin monotype collages. Archival rice paper, water based woodblock inks, pastel and Prismacolor pencil. Paper size 18 X 12 and image size 14 X 8. This series is based on the question of; How far can a living species go to adapt to change? 2019

Ghost Fish is a series of 10 gelatin monotype collages. Sometimes we assume that just because we don’t actually see something, it still must exist – right? Water based ink on Chinese tang paper, pastel and Prismacolor pencil. Paper size is 18 X 12 and image size is 16 X 10. 2020

Intaglio Collage

Spheres is a series of 7 individually unique images based on the idea that matter in space translates from the very small to the infinitely large. Akua inks on a Chinese tang paper with Prismacolor pencil, pastel and graphite, they measure 8 X 8 inches. Intaglio and collage 2024.

Kiwi is a group of 8 individual pieces that, when assembled, represent a tabletop setting of a tablecloth, plates, fruit, utensils and napkins. It represents an informal gathering and sharing. The construct of individual pieces enforces the idea that while we all can share an event we carry away a memory that is unique and private.

Kiwi is a gelatin monotype collage. Each piece is 11 X 17 inches and when fully assembled measures 22 X 68 inches. Water based block printing ink, pastel, Prismacolor pencil, laser prints, graphite on commercial paper with Chinese tang paper. 2023

Bees in Cactus is a collection of 4 intaglio prints. They all measure 8 X 14 inches and each is slightly different in tone, color value and design. Akua inks on Chinese tang paper with added stamping and pastel. 2024

Longwings in Honeysuckle is a series of 8 individual gelatin monotype collages each measuring 18 X 24. Although not native to New Mexico, they are known to catch a warm breeze from Texas and visit. Water based wood block inks, pastel and Prismacolor pencil. 2021

Cherries is a series of 8 unique gelatin monotype collages. Paper size is 12 X 18. Chinese tang paper, water based wood block ink, pastel and Prismacolor pencil. 2021

Picnic is a gelatin monotype collage. The image is of a large fringed tablecloth spread out on a lawn. It is covered in all the assorted things you might bring to a picnic, or perhaps all the random things that those attending might bring. The individual pieces reflect perhaps different memories of a shared event. What we see, what we do and what we remember of an experience is always unique and private. Each piece is 12 X 18 inches and there are 30 total. Spread out side by side the overall piece is 6.5 X 7 feet. Larger, of course, when framed. 2021
